This isn’t just a charity.
It’s a family story and it started with an unexpected diagnosis.
It Started With Our Son

We’re a family just like many others. But when our son got his autism diagnosis, our world shifted. Not in a dramatic, TV-movie kind of way, but in the slow, steady grind of needing to re-learn what life would look like.
We didn’t always get it right. We still don’t. But we learnt early on that what mattered most was connection. Connection with each other, with nature, with our community and with people who got it.
Oscars100 has never about ticking boxes. It was created as a way to increase awereness of autism, to create understanding, to create acceptance. It was created as a way to feel less alone. And over time, it's grown into something bigger.
Why 100? Why This?
The name comes from our first big fundraiser: a 100-kilometre endurance challenge through the blue mountains. The ideas was simple. 100 people sposnors $100 for Andy to run 100km. It was wild. It was raw. It was beautiful. It was our way of saying, “we’ll go to the ends of the earth for our kids”and inviting others to join us.
And they did.
From a handful of supporters came a movement. A community of people who run, support, donate, volunteer—and most importantly, show up.
The Bigger Picture
Today, Oscars100 is developing ways to support the whole family unit through programs that focus on connection, support, and shared experiences.
We’re especially proud of our sibling support program, Archie’s Club, named after Oscar’s brother, because every family member’s journey matters.
Whether we’re on the trails, around the campfire, or building new friendships, our goal is simple: create spaces where families can breathe, bond, and build something stronger together.
